The\u00a0Cleveland Browns<\/a>\u00a0made waves during the 2025 NFL Draft by walking away with not one, but two quarterbacks. First, they used their third-round pick on Dillon Gabriel, signaling what many saw as a great snub to\u00a0Shedeur Sanders<\/a>. Then, when Sanders continued to slide, Cleveland pulled off a surprising move, trading up in the fifth round to snag him as well.<\/p>\n

Fans barely had time to process the first shock before the second one dropped. The idea of a team drafting two quarterbacks in the same draft raised more than a few eyebrows. Speaking to reporters after the draft, Berry said,\u00a0\u201cIt wasn\u2019t necessarily the plan going into the weekend to draft two QB\u2019s.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0That one sentence set off a wave of fan reactions, many pointing the finger at team owner Jimmy Haslam for stepping in and forcing the move.<\/p>\n
