Shedeur Sanders<\/a>\u00a0has sent a message to Cleveland fans in the wake of the Browns drafting him on Day 3.<\/p>\n

The new Browns quarterback experienced a monumental slide after entering the draft with top-five hopes. He was not picked until the fifth round in one of the most bizarre draft controversies ever.<\/p>\n

Even so, he will now have an opportunity to compete for a starting role in Cleveland\u2019s offense.<\/p>\n

While it proved to be a nightmare scenario for Shedeur, he claims the painstaking wait did not faze him, and he will make the best of his opportunity.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing really affected me the last couple of days,\u201d he said, per\u00a0Mary Kay Cabot<\/a>\u00a0of Cleveland.com. \u201cI\u2019m blessed. I know I have to clean up some things in my game. The main thing is proving Stefanski and Mr. Berry right about picking me.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
