It was draft night in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and the air was thick with anticipation.<\/p>\n

Nobody will be happier when Shedeur Sanders comes off the board during the 2025\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0draft than the ESPN draft expert.<\/p>\n

Shortly after commissioner\u00a0Roger Goodell<\/a>\u00a0formally put the Tennessee Titans on the clock to set up Cam Ward\u2019s selection first overall, Kiper began his lovefest for Sanders, which continued throughout the first round.<\/p>\n

Once hyped as a potential top-five pick, Sanders tumbled past quarterback-needy teams like the Saints, Giants, and Titans.<\/p>\n

It got to the point that NFL fans began to call for him to be fired.<\/p>\n
