On the morning of April 21, 2025, Pope Francis took his last breath at Casa Santa Marta.\u00a0His passing<\/a>\u00a0was announced by Cardinal Kevin Farrell, Camerlengo of the Holy Roman Church.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“Dearest brothers and sisters, with deep sorrow I must announce the death of our Holy Father Francis. At 7:35 this morning, the Bishop of Rome, Francis, returned to the house of the Father,” he\u00a0shared<\/a>.
