A lip reader has claimed that Prince Harry didn’t speak highly of his family during his father’s coronation back in 2023.<\/p>\n

Following the passing of\u00a0Queen Elizabeth II<\/a>\u00a0in 2022, preparations were swiftly underway for the ascension of Prince Charles to the British throne.<\/p>\n

The coronation, which took place in May 2023, was a huge affair, with\u00a0tons of major royal traditions being broken<\/a>\u00a0by the now-King.<\/p>\n

While his daughter-in-law,\u00a0Meghan Markle<\/a>, was not there, his son\u00a0Prince Harry<\/a>\u00a0was. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially stepped down as senior royals back in 2020 before moving to the Duchess’s native country of the\u00a0US<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Since then, Harry released his memoir,\u00a0Spare<\/em>, on 10 January 2023, where he spoke about his\u00a0relationship with his brother, Prince William<\/a>, and\u00a0his father.<\/a><\/p>\n

So when Prince Harry arrived for his father’s coronation, all eyes were on him, and according to a lip reader, he had a few things to say.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, Harry was sat next to his cousin,\u00a0Princess Eugenie<\/a>‘s husband Jack Brooksbank, where, according to Jeremy Freeman speaking with The Sun, he allegedly whispered a few unkind words about his family.<\/p>\n

“I’m fed up with the way they treat me,” the Duke of Sussex, 40, allegedly\u00a0said.<\/a>\u00a0“It’s not an ideal situation.”<\/p>\n

To which Princess Eugenie’s husband allegedly responded: “It’s not the quiet life, is it?”<\/p>\n

The lip reader then claimed that Harry shook his head, and replied: “They don’t care.”<\/p>\n

“I haven’t time for that,” Brooksbank reportedly said. “Not if it’s over…”<\/p>\n

Harry added: “It’s an eventuality.”<\/p>\n

Since his departure as a senior royal, Harry has been vocal about his experience as a member of the\u00a0Royal Family<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In an exclusive with ITV in 2024, he said he ‘loves’ his father and that he’d love ‘to have my brother back’.<\/p>\n

ITV reporter Tom Bradby then asked Harry\u00a0what he thought William’s reaction would be<\/a>\u00a0to the allegations in his book, saying: “Wouldn\u2019t your brother say to you, ‘Harry, how could you do this to me after everything we went through?’ Wouldn\u2019t that be what he would say?”<\/p>\n

To which Harry said: “He would probably say all sorts of different things.”<\/p>\n

And in a ITV documentary titled\u00a0Tabloids on Trial<\/em>, the Duke said his battle against the tabloids was a ‘central piece’ that\u00a0’caused part of a rift’ with his family.<\/a><\/p>\n

“It is certainly a central piece to it. It is a hard question to answer because anything I say about my family results in a torrent of abuse from the press.<\/p>\n

“I have made it very clear that this is something that needs to be done.<\/p>\n

“It would be nice if we did it as a family, I believe from a service standpoint and when you are in a public role these are the things we should be doing for the greater good.<\/p>\n

“I am doing this for my reasons.”<\/p>\n

He continued: “I think that everything that has played out has shown people what the truth of the matter is, for me the mission continues.<\/p>\n

“I think as you say, it has caused part of a rift.”<\/p>\n
