US President Donald Trump wanted to ‘deport\u2019 a comedian after what he did on a golf course.<\/strong><\/p>\n Trump<\/a>, 78, is the US President but aside from dealing with world affairs, he still finds time for a round of\u00a0golf<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 78-year-old has had a close association with the sport for several decades and began building courses in the late 1990s.<\/p>\n Several of his courses have since been selected as host to various professional fixtures, including PGA and LPGA events.<\/p>\n Trump has faced the likes of\u00a0Tiger Woods<\/a>\u00a0and Jack Nicklaus on the course, with the latter explaining how the president \u201cplays pretty\u201d well when speaking to\u00a0Bloomberg<\/a>\u00a0in 2019.<\/p>\n \u201cTrump plays pretty well,\u201d said Nicklaus. \u201cHe plays a little bit like I do. He doesn\u2019t really ever finish many holes. But he can hit the ball, and he goes out and plays and just enjoys it. But he\u2019s won several club championships. He can play.\u201d<\/p>\n A typical golf course is a relaxed, idyllic environment but this was certainly not the case at Trump Turnberry golf resort back in 2016 when things took an unexpected turn.<\/p>\n A comedian under the alter ego Simon Brodkin \u2013 formerly Lee Nelson \u2013 made world news at the time after interrupting the re-opening of the resort by handing out Nazi-themed balls with swastikas emblazoned on them.<\/p>\n Nelson, 47, claimed that Trump \u201cwanted to throw the book at him\u201d before Police Scotland intervened and “convinced Trump to not press charges”.<\/p>\n
