Hollywood star Samuel L Jackson once accused Donald Trump of cheating at golf after the US president denied suggestions that he played a round with the highest-grossing actor of all time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trump, who owns 12 different\u00a0golf<\/a>\u00a0courses across America, has previously discussed his admiration for the sport.<\/p>\n

“I often get asked why did I get involved in golf,” he told\u00a0Today’s Golfer<\/strong><\/a>. “Well, I have friends that are very successful people and they love to garden. And I like to garden too \u2013 just in a much bigger way.”<\/p>\n

He may have friends who play the game, but we’re not entirely sure Samuel L Jackson is one of them.<\/p>\n

Back in 2016, Jackson claimed in an interview with Rhapsody magazine that he\u2019d received a bill from Trump\u2019s National Golf Club, even though wasn’t a member. \u201cI would never say buddies,\u201d he said. \u201cOr friends. I\u2019ve golfed with him.”<\/p>\n

When asked who the better golfer was, Jackson replied: \u201cOh, I am, for sure. I don\u2019t cheat.\u201d<\/p>\n

After claiming to have played golf with Trump, the soon-to-be-president proceeded to respond to those claims.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know\u00a0@SamuelLJackson<\/a>, to best of my knowledge haven\u2019t played golf w\/him & think he does too many TV commercials\u2014boring,” he said on Twitter, now known as X. “Not a fan.”<\/p>\n

Jackson would respond by posting the bill from Trump on his Instagram account. \u201cA bill from the guy that doesn\u2019t know me & never golfed with me,” he wrote. “I\u2019m gonna Block his a** too!\u201d<\/p>\n

It didn’t stop there. Jackson addressed his beef with Trump on \u201cThe Late Show with Seth Meyers\u201d and suggested he played a round with the US president alongside fellow actor Anthony Anderson.<\/p>\n

He would also accuse the politician of cheating. \u201cI met him a lot,\u201d said Jackson. \u201cWe clearly saw him hook a ball into a lake at Trump National in Jersey. And his caddy told him, \u2018We found it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Meyers replied: “Was the caddie soaking wet when he said this?” to which Jackson hit back: “No, he was not. He just took off running, and the next thing you know \u2013 ‘I got it, Mr. Trump!'”<\/p>\n
