Jennifer Lopez went full on ‘mama bear’ on a photographer after they allegedly disrespected her child.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0singer<\/a>\u00a0was seen attending the Broadway premiere of\u00a0Othello\u00a0<\/em>at the weekend, where she introduced a special date.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Monster In Law\u00a0<\/em>actress<\/a>\u00a0showed off her 17-year-old, Emme, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.<\/p>\n

Now, many people have not really been privy to JLo\u2019s two\u00a0children<\/a>, and they have been mostly kept away from the spotlight. But now that Emme has made their debut to Hollywood and on a red carpet, all eyes were on the pair.<\/p>\n

However, that wasn\u2019t such a good thing, as a paparazzi was about to find out.<\/p>\n

During Sunday\u2019s black tie event, a source\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0Page Six that the singer was in full \u2018mama bear\u2019 mode when a photographer crowded them as they were exiting the Ethel Barrymore Theater.<\/p>\n

The person explained that they saw a \u2018huge paparazzi camera\u2019 come in between\u00a0JLo<\/a>\u00a0and Emme, and the lens was then shoved in the teenager\u2019s face. That\u2019s when the \u2018mama bear\u2019 came out in full force.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Lopez] yelled at the guy. She went mama bear,\u201d the source told the publication.<\/p>\n

Her stern words are something that many parents can get behind, as kids are usually well known to be off limits to the pap\u2019s behaviours. But maybe this one didn\u2019t get the memo?<\/p>\n

Anyway, it appears that despite the intrusion, they ended up having a great time, as JLo went on to post a little\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0snap of the pair, captioned: \u201cOthello premiere with the best date ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

The opening night of Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal’s new revival of\u00a0Othello\u00a0<\/em>saw the mother-child duo co-ordinating their glitter outfits and strike a post on the carpet.<\/p>\n

As the mom of her 17-year-old twins – Maximilian \u2018Max\u2019 David Muniz and Emme, who she welcomed with Anthony in February 2008 – JLo has shown nothing but pride.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s unconditional love,\u201d she told PEOPLE in a past interview. \u201cI know everybody feels this way about their kids, but I just feel like they\u2019re super special. I can\u2019t wait to see what they do.\u201d<\/p>\n

When she celebrated her twins\u2019 17th birthday, she posted a cute video tribute on Instagram showing photos and videos of the family as the kids grew up.<\/p>\n

“Seventeen. I love you beyond forever,\u201d Lopez captioned the post.<\/p>\n

However, she admitted she struggled with parenting after her divorce from the children\u2019s father.<\/p>\n

Last year, the star\u00a0spoke to<\/a>\u00a0Entertainment Weekly about her film\u00a0Unstoppable<\/em>, where she plays champion Anthony Robles’ mother Judy Robles.<\/p>\n

JLo shared how her experience as a single parent influenced how she looked at the role.<\/p>\n

“I’ve been a single mom at times in my life, and [I’ve asked], ‘Am I enough for them?'” she said. “And the truth is, all you need is really one good parent to love you.”<\/p>\n
