The Lucas County Coroner&#8217;s Office\u00a0<a class=\"Link_link__PUK08 Link_link__kvrlb\" href=\"https:\/\/www.13abc.com\/2025\/03\/24\/father-missing-toledo-girl-charged\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-label=\"https:\/\/www.13abc.com\/2025\/03\/24\/father-missing-toledo-girl-charged\/\">confirmed her identity<\/a>\u00a0and scheduled an autopsy for Tuesday to determine the cause of death.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"ContentRenderer_paragraph__B2z36\">Police had initially charged Latigue&#8217;s father, 33-year-old Darnell Jones, with abduction on Sunday. Her mom, Tiara Kasten, said Latigue had a\u00a0<a class=\"Link_link__PUK08 Link_link__kvrlb\" href=\"https:\/\/www.13abc.com\/2025\/03\/24\/father-missing-toledo-girl-charged\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-label=\"https:\/\/www.13abc.com\/2025\/03\/24\/father-missing-toledo-girl-charged\/\">simple routine<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 school, basketball, and home \u2014 and would have had no reason to be near the vacant house where police found her.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"ContentRenderer_paragraph__B2z36\">After Latigue went missing, relatives organized search efforts and handed out flyers. On March 17, her grandmother, Dorothy Latigue, returned to their home and found the stove on, gas leaking, and Latigue&#8217;s glasses and keys still inside \u2014 items the teen never left behind.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"ContentRenderer_paragraph__B2z36\">The investigation remains active. &#8220;Until we&#8217;re done doing the whole investigation I can&#8217;t tell you how many people are involved,&#8221; Lt.
