Authorities in Costa Rica say Miller Gardner, the son of former New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner, apparently\u00a0died of asphyxiation<\/a>, according to Inside Edition.<\/p>\n

Providing further detail, Juan Pablo Alvarado Garcia, a spokesperson for the country’s Judicial Investigative Agency,\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0NBC News the teenager likely died “after a possible intoxication after apparently ingesting some food.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
