President Donald Trump\u2019s reaction to being hit in the face with a boom mic by a reporter came with a scathing comment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The incident comes after he posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, to share that he had\u00a0a \u2018good\u2019 talk with Russian President, Vladimir Putin<\/a>, which could see a deal between the nation and\u00a0Ukraine<\/a>\u00a0after its three-year invasion.<\/p>\n

The 45th<\/sup>\u00a0and 47th<\/sup>\u00a0President of the\u00a0United States<\/a>\u00a0was at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Friday (March 14) answering questions from the press when he was suddenly hit in the face with a big, fuzzy boom mic.<\/p>\n

The extended mic can be seen touching his mouth and sliding across his face during the live broadcast, and he even attempted to lean back to stop it from touching him further.<\/p>\n

Extended microphones are usually taken on these types of interviews, where multiple journalists are attempting to pick up sound from one person.<\/p>\n

It stops them from having to crowd the interviewee.<\/p>\n

But the miscalculated effort to capture his voice saw\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0get the brunt of the equipment, causing him to glare at the woman.<\/p>\n

The 78-year-old immediately made a comment after the fuzzy mic touched his face, uttering a seven-word clap back to the mishap.<\/p>\n

He was heard stating: \u201cShe just became a big story tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also said: \u201cShe just made television tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n

While he initially appeared to be upset over the slight, he also went on to look amused as he initially shot her daggers, before raising his eyebrows and then laughing.<\/p>\n

He then asked someone off camera: \u201cDid you see that?\u201d<\/p>\n

However, social media fans online have not been too happy with the incident, and some conspiracy theorists believed it could have been an attempt on his life.<\/p>\n

One person wrote: \u201cA reporter just HIT\u00a0President<\/a>\u00a0Trump with a microphone. But 47 handled it like a PRO.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another said: \u201cHow on earth did a reporter get that boom mic so close to Trump\u2019s face? This just doesn\u2019t seem right. Security should tighten up. Embarrassing for the press.\u201d<\/p>\n

Someone else commented: \u201cPresident Trump was just smacked in the face by a reporter’s boom mic. Unreal these people. Have some respect.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Where’s the secret service,” some of Trump’s supporters asked.<\/p>\n

Others believe that the microphone was contaminated with \u2018poison\u2019 or ‘infected with the next pandemic’.<\/p>\n

A user wrote: \u201cI am going to say yes. And if Trump mysteriously gets sick or has some medical situation then the boom mic was laced with something that microphone should have been confiscated on the spot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Looks like the rogue boom has stirred up some seriously wild conspiracy theories.<\/p>\n
