The\u00a0Minnesota Vikings<\/a>\u00a0are reportedly moving on from quarterback\u00a0Sam Darnold<\/a>\u00a0after a surprisingly successful one-year run.<\/p>\n According to a\u00a0report from<\/a>\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0Network\u2019s Tom Pelissero, the 27-year-old quarterback \u201cis not expected to\u201d re-sign with the Vikings with free agency set to begin on Wednesday. Pelissero adds that Minnesota will explore other choices, including re-signing third-stringer Daniel Jones.<\/p>\n The Vikings\u2019 decision isn\u2019t overly surprising here. Darnold obviously wants a lot of money after a career year, and the Vikings used a 2024 first-round pick on the promising J.J.
