On July 13 last year, the US\u00a0president<\/a>\u00a0was\u00a0struck and wounded in his right ear<\/a>\u00a0while attending a rally in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n The suspect, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, fired eight rounds from a\u00a0gun<\/a>\u00a0from a roof of a nearby building, which killed an audience member and injured two others.<\/p>\n The president has said he would be ‘willing’ to release the information (Anna Moneymaker\/Getty Images)<\/cite><\/div>\n Crooks was killed at the scene by law enforcement.<\/p>\n Two months later,\u00a0Ryan Wesley Routh<\/a>\u00a0was reportedly found hiding in bushes near Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach,\u00a0Florida<\/a>, with a rifle.<\/p>\n Police<\/a>\u00a0allege the 58-year-old intended to injure\u00a0Trump<\/a>, but no injuries were reported.<\/p>\n Now, from a press conference in the Oval Office on Thursday (March 6), a reporter asked the POTUS: “It’s been seven months. Why do you think we don’t know more about the guy who shot you in the ear?”<\/p>\n “Well, and the second one with all of the cell phones,” Trump replied in reference to the September 15 incident where Routh was reportedly found with six phones.<\/p>\n “He had six cellphones. Well, it makes other people think that.<\/p>\n “It makes me think it a little bit too.
