Meghan Markle was forced to correct Mindy Kaling after she called her by the ‘wrong’ name on her new Netflix show.<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old\u00a0Duchess of Sussex<\/a>, who shares Archie, five, and three-year-old Lilibet, with her husband\u00a0Prince Harry<\/a>, has opened up about her family life as her brand-new\u00a0lifestyle series<\/a>\u00a0titled\u00a0With Love, Meghan<\/em>\u00a0drops on\u00a0Netflix<\/a>\u00a0today (4 March).<\/p>\n

In episode two of her new show, Meghan is joined by her friend Mindy.<\/p>\n

The pair are discussing their favourite fast food when Meghan explains that as a child, she grew up on a lot of takeouts.<\/p>\n

“I don’t think anyone in the world knows that Meghan Markle has eaten Jack In The Box and loves it,” said Mindy.<\/p>\n

But Meghan changed the subject, explaining that she found it ‘funny’ that Mindy called her ‘Meghan Markle’.<\/p>\n

“It’s so funny you keep saying Meghan Markle, you know I’m Sussex now.<\/p>\n

“You have kids and you go ‘No, I share my name with my children’.<\/p>\n

“I didn’t know how meaningful it would be to me but it just means so much to go ‘This is OUR family name. Our little family name’.”<\/p>\n

In response, Mindy said: “Well, now I know and I love it.”<\/p>\n

Mindy referred to her friend as ‘Meghan Markle’ (Netflix)<\/cite><\/div>\n

The late Queen Elizabeth bestowed the Sussex title upon Prince Harry and Meghan for their wedding back in 2018.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with People, Meghan explained the significance of the name further.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s our shared name as a family, and I guess I hadn\u2019t recognised how meaningful that would be to me until we had children,” Meghan\u00a0shared<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I love that that is something that Archie, Lili, H and I all have together. It means a lot to me.”<\/p>\n

She added that the Sussex name is ‘part of our love story’.<\/p>\n

Meghan explained she shares the same name as her children (Netflix)<\/cite><\/div>\n

Opening up some more about her journey in motherhood, Meghan continued: “When your children get to a certain age – when you\u2019re not just playing in the sandbox with them but almost playing in your own sandbox again – it\u2019s super joyful.<\/p>\n

“As a woman, a mom and a wife, to be able to find yourself again – in a way that was always present but that you maybe couldn\u2019t put as much attention on as you now can when your kids are a little bit older – is a wonderful feeling.”<\/p>\n
