Olympics great Simone Biles shared details of the shocking amount that a nightclub tried to charge her for a bottle of champagne after Paris 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Team USA legend\u00a0Biles<\/a>\u00a0cemented herself as one of the greatest athletes of all time at the 2024 Paris\u00a0Olympic Games<\/a>\u00a0after taking home three gold medals and one silver, becoming the oldest Olympic all-around champion at age 27.<\/p>\n

Following her success in Paris, Biles became the most successful US gymnast of all time with an astonishing total of 11 Olympic medals and, of course, she wanted to celebrate her achievements in the famous nightclubs of Paris.<\/p>\n

However, the Olympian later revealed that her time sampling Paris’ nightlife wasn’t as positive as she had hoped, as one club tried to charge her a breathtaking amount for a bottle of champagne after\u00a0the Olympic closing ceremony.<\/a><\/p>\n

Speaking in a\u00a0TikTok<\/a>, Biles revealed that following the closing ceremony, she and her teammates went to a club that tried to massively overcharge the Olympic star.<\/p>\n

“After that [closing ceremonies] we went out,” the American recalled. “You guys, this club tried to charge me $26,000 for a bottle of champagne. Like are you insane?”<\/p>\n

“But why would you even try to play me like that? That\u2019s wild,” she added.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the video, the 27-year-old spoke candidly about the struggles of life in the public eye.<\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t know sometimes, the attention, I\u2019d rather not have it,” Simone admitted.<\/p>\n

“I rather just be as normal as possible, I don\u2019t know.”<\/p>\n

This perhaps is part of the reason why it seems almost certain that Paris 2024 will remain the final Olympic Games that Biles competes in.<\/p>\n

Speaking in an interview with\u00a0Sports Illustrated<\/a>, the gymnast admitted that she feels that she has done all that she needs to do in the sport and will no focus on her personal life.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause I\u2019ve accomplished so much, there\u2019s almost nothing left to do, rather than to just be snobby and to try again, and for what?\u201d she confessed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m at a point in my career where I\u2019m humble enough to know when to be done.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you go back, you\u2019ll be greedy. Those are the consequences,\u201d Biles added.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut that\u2019s also your decision to decide. What sacrifices would be made if I go back now? When you\u2019re younger, it\u2019s like, prom, college. Now it\u2019s like, starting a family, being away from my husband. What\u2019s really worth it?\u201d<\/p>\n
