President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been hailed as a \u2018comedian\u2019 after his \u2018hilarious\u2019 activity following his clash with US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance in the Oval Office.<\/p>\n

The 47-year-old\u00a0Ukrainian<\/a>\u00a0leader’s trip to\u00a0Washington<\/a>\u00a0on Friday (February 28) to finalise a deal on minerals was abruptly cut short when\u00a0Trump<\/a>, 78, ordered him to leave the vicinity and cancelled a joint press conference,\u00a0as per<\/a>\u00a0BBC.<\/p>\n

As well as\u00a0accusing Zelenskyy of \u2018gambling with World War III\u2019,<\/a>\u00a0the 47th President of the United States claimed Ukraine didn\u2019t \u2018have the cards\u2019 to continue its fight with Russia.<\/p>\n

Amid the spat, US Vice President Vance, 40, asked the\u00a0politician<\/a>: \u201cDo you think it’s respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America that’s trying to prevent the destruction of your country?\u201d<\/p>\n

He then said: \u201cHave you said thank you once? During this entire meeting?\u201d<\/p>\n

In reply, Zelenskyy said he had shown gratitude \u2018a lot of times\u2019, remarking \u2018even today\u2019.<\/p>\n

The Ukrainian Prime Minister later dismissed the Republican for speaking \u2018very loudly about the war\u2019,\u00a0as per<\/a>\u00a0The Daily Mail, which earned him an interruption from Trump.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe’s not speaking loudly,\u201d the convicted felon said, remarking that Zelenskyy should listen.<\/p>\n

As Zelenskyy continued to argue against Trump, Vance said: \u201cJust say thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAccept that there are disagreements and let’s go litigate those disagreements rather than trying to fight it out in the American media when you’re wrong. We know that you’re wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following\u00a0the fiery meeting<\/a>, the Ukrainian leader used his X account to thank the American people and Trump himself for their ongoing \u2018support\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit. Thank you @POTUS, Congress, and the American people,\u201d he typed. \u201cUkraine needs just and lasting peace, and we are working exactly for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

This note of gratitude is just one of the many Zelenskyy has posted on X over the last few days.<\/p>\n

Other \u2018thank you\u2019 messages have been publicly sent to Jakov Milatovic, the President of Montenegro, Zuzana \u010caputov\u00e1, the former President of Slovakia, and the official account for Swedish leader Ulf Kristersson, all of whom shared their own champion statements on the platform.<\/p>\n

It appears Zelenskyy has responded to every message of endearment with the same five words: \u201cThank you for your support.\u201d<\/p>\n

Social media users have noticed that the father-of-two\u2019s flurry of ‘thank you’ notes has continued following the Oval Office interview.<\/p>\n

One user has gone as far as to upload a screen recording to the platform featuring some of his replies.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter Vance accused Zelensky of not saying thank you, Zelensky is now tweeting individual thanks to every single world leader expressing solidarity with Ukraine,\u201d the X user wrote alongside the clip.<\/p>\n

In response, someone typed: \u201cThis is hilarious tbh.\u201d<\/p>\n

A second echoed: \u201cI applaud his pettiness.\u201d<\/p>\n

A third replied: \u201cHe was thanking everyone throughout last week as well. Check his timeline.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe when I reply to facebook birthday posts,\u201d another social media user joked.<\/p>\n

A fifth wrote: \u201cActually pretty funny. He should\u2019ve been a comedian..\u201d<\/p>\n

Following his meeting with Trump and Vance, Zelenskyy headed to the UK\u00a0to meet with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer<\/a>.<\/p>\n
