Amanda Holden has been called out by angry fans for her comment to a contestant on\u00a0Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/a>\u00a02025.<\/p>\n

The ITV show returned to screens on Saturday night (March 1) in a bid to find the UK\u2019s next big star.<\/p>\n

However,\u00a0Amanda<\/a>\u00a0has come under fire for a \u201cnot nice\u201d comment she made to one of the acts on the long-running talent show.<\/p>\n

Britain\u2019s Got Talent 2025: Stacey wows audience<\/h3>\n

On Britain\u2019s Got Talent, viewers were introduced to singer Stacey from Yorkshire. She made jaws drop thanks to her incredible rendition of Snow Patrol\u2019s Run.<\/p>\n

Before her performance, Stacey shared that she is a supermarket worker.<\/p>\n

Explaining her job to Amanda Holden, she said: \u201cI work at a supermarket.\u201d Amanda then asked her: |Doing what?\u201d<\/p>\n

Stacey replied: \u201cCooked chickens.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amanda responded: \u201cOh do you, brilliant. Oh my goodness Stacey so this is very different from cooking chickens.\u201d<\/p>\n

The crowd were left on their feet following Stacey\u2019s performance. Guest judge KSI even gave her a golden buzzer.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt every single word of that. You\u2019re amazing, you\u2019re just amazing,\u201d Amanda told her.<\/p>\n

After Stacey left the stage, Amanda turned to her fellow judges and said: \u201cIsn\u2019t that amazing that she just works on a counter. You don\u2019t expect that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Britain\u2019s Got Talent 2025 fans call out Amanda Holden<\/h3>\n

However, fans watching at home were not impressed with Amanda\u2019s choice of words, dubbing them \u201cderogatory\u201d and \u201csnobby\u201d.<\/p>\n

Someone else added: \u201cAmanda just said \u2018and she only works on a counter\u2019 only that would come from someone who isn\u2019t working class or doesn\u2019t know what real work actually means.\u201d<\/p>\n

A third chimed in: \u201c\u2018Isn\u2019t it amazing she *just* works on a counter?\u2019 Derogatory and snobby way of speaking from Amanda Holden there. Not nice at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

What else happened on Britain\u2019s Got Talent 2025?<\/h3>\n

Elsewhere on the ITV show,\u00a0judge Bruno Tonioli was also called out<\/a>\u00a0as viewers urged him to \u201csit down\u201d.<\/p>\n

After a couple of auditions, which saw Bruno standing up enjoying the moment, complaints began pouring in.<\/p>\n

One person said on X: \u201cSit down Bruno\u2026 the show ain\u2019t about you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another wrote: \u201cI honestly wish the judges would just sit down and enjoy the acts. When they start getting up and dancing it\u2019s all me me me.\u201d<\/p>\n
