Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, were found dead at their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, along with their dog on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Foul play was initially ruled out, but investigators quickly reversed that statement, calling the deaths \u201csuspicious\u201d and stating that an investigation was ongoing.<\/p>\n
Their deaths have been subject to much speculation once news came out that they were found in different rooms of the home, and Arakawa\u2019s body was mummified and bloated.<\/p>\n
After the couple were found dead in their New Mexico home, their bodies were \u201ctransported to the Office of the Medical Investigator,\u201d the Santa Fe County Sheriff\u2019s Office wrote in a news release.<\/p>\n
