The\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0won\u2019t be meeting President Donald Trump as a group this year following their loss at\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a>\u00a039 earlier this month, but it hardly means they can\u2019t hold court with him individually.<\/p>\n

That recently turned out to be the case, with one such player meeting up with the 78-year-old before the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>\u00a0even got to go.<\/p>\n

The Super Bowl winners have an official invitation to visit the White House following their win at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9. Contrary to rumors, they will not decline the opportunity despite having done so in 2018.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, kicker Harrison Butker, who was the source of major controversy ahead of last season after making a commencement speech at Benedictine College, has spent some time with the President.<\/p>\n

Butker, a devout Catholic, received plenty of criticism for telling women that they should prioritize being homemakers as it\u2019s their highest calling.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a decision I\u2019ve consciously made and one I do not regret at all,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he told reporters during Super Bowl Week in New Orleans.<\/p>\n
