One user whose account was represented by an American eagle coloured in the American flag, said: “I hope your account was hacked because this is just flat out poor judgement.”<\/p>\n
Another user, Courtney Jo, said: “I support you 100 percent Mr President, but I do not like this video. All around distasteful.” One supporter who said she had supported the President “since day one” went as far as to say the video made her “sick”, saying: This feels all wrong and actually makes me sick. I have supported you since Day one but this is filth. There is no God in this.”<\/p>\n

A fourth user agreed: “This is just plain wrong!! This video is in very bad taste and just plain horrible!! The gold statue is 100 percent wrong no matter which way you try to make it come across. This video makes me sick.” Mr Trump’s views on Gaza have been controversial since he announced plans to take ownership of the Palestinian territory earlier this year, but they have largely been dismissed as unserious, despite them having been made in a press conference alongside Mr Netanyahu.<\/p>\n

While Middle Eastern nations have been united in their opposition, Mr Netanyahu, whose government has been accused of killing thousands of innocents in Palestine, has committed himself to the controversial plan. He said during a press conference on February 17: “Just as I have committed to, on the day after the war in Gaza, there will be neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority.<\/p>\n
“I am committed to US president Trump\u2019s plan for the creation of a different Gaza.”<\/p>\n
