Kamala Harris’ prediction about Donald Trump’s relationship with Vladimir Putin has resurfaced amidst recent events.<\/p>\n

A clip from last year’s first\u00a0presidential<\/a>\u00a0debate has been making the rounds on\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0once again, where Democrat\u00a0Harris<\/a>\u00a0seemingly foreshadowed\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0getting closer to Putin and\u00a0Russia<\/a>. Now, preparations are reportedly underway for a meeting between the two leaders according to Russia’s deputy foreign minister, the Guardian\u00a0reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In one clip posted to X with the caption ‘You can’t say she didn’t call it’, Harris, 60, can be seen telling the 78-year-old Republican: “Why don\u2019t you tell the 800,000 Polish-Americans, right here in\u00a0Pennsylvania<\/a>, how quickly you would give up for the sake of favour and what you think is a friendship with what is known to be a dictator who would eat you for lunch.”<\/p>\n

After watching the clip, one X user penned: “She saw it coming. Didn\u2019t take long\u2026”<\/p>\n

“Word for word! Bar for bar!” quipped a second.<\/p>\n

Another chimed in: “God I loved this part of the debate but hate the reality now.”<\/p>\n

“She said he’d get eaten for lunch by Putin,” wrote a fourth. “He got eaten for lunch by Putin.”<\/p>\n

The resurfaced video in question comes after\u00a0Trump was asked by press this week if he’d describe Putin as a ‘dictator’<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I don’t use those words lightly,” he replied following an awkward pause. “I think that we’re gonna see how it all works out.<\/p>\n

“Let’s see what happens. I think that we have a chance of a really good settlement between various countries.”<\/p>\n

He continued: “And, you know, you’re talking about Europe, and you’re talking about Ukraine as part of that whole situation. The other side has a lot of support, also.<\/p>\n

“So, let’s see how it all works out. It might work out.<\/p>\n

“Look, you can never make up lives. One thing you can make up, the money, but you can’t make up the lives.”<\/p>\n

He also falsely claimed that Ukraine ‘started’ telling reporters at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida last week: “You\u2019ve been there for three years. You should have ended it. … You should have never started it. You could have made a deal.”<\/p>\n

Trump’s latest comments have rubbed a number of\u00a0Americans<\/a>\u00a0up the wrong way.<\/p>\n

Thousands of\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0users have since pointed out that the the controversial politician seemingly had no qualms in branding\u00a0Ukrainian<\/a>\u00a0President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a ‘dictator’ last week.<\/p>\n

Kamala Harris was right: \u201cThose dictators are rooting for you because they know they can manipulate you with flattery and favors\u201d<\/p>\n
