For the last few weeks, First Lady Melania Trump seems to have been keeping a rather low profile – and people are desperate to know why.<\/p>\n

Melania<\/a>, 54, appeared for the first time in weeks at the Governors Ball – hosted at the White House – over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Prior to this, she was last seen with husband, President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>, while visiting North Carolina and California towards the end of January.<\/p>\n

So where has she been?<\/p>\n

Fans have been left curious<\/a>, with one person writing\u00a0on X<\/a>: “Where is Melania?”<\/p>\n

While another added: “Does anyone know where Melania is now? She was right by his side & now she’s gone. I miss her being here!”<\/p>\n

And a third said: “Where is Melania? It\u2019s been quite some time since she\u2019s been in public.”<\/p>\n

According to a source speaking\u00a0to<\/a>\u00a0People, Melania ‘stepping back’ shouldn’t be a surprise to the public.<\/p>\n

“She will never be a traditional First Lady. That isn\u2019t who she is,” said the source.<\/p>\n

“[She] her own ideas on what she wants to do.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a second source claimed that Melania has been busy working on her\u00a0upcoming documentary with Amazon<\/a>, adding: “Melania has been busy shooting her documentary and that has taken place in several locations, including the White House.”<\/p>\n

Melania has been missing from several White House events recently, including when Trump met with a number of\u00a0world<\/a>\u00a0leaders such as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and King Abdullah of Jordan.<\/p>\n

She was also allegedly absent from a dinner Trump hosted in Mar-a-Lago for the Republican senators and their spouses.<\/p>\n

However, her documentary does seem to be picking up speed, so it makes sense that she’s likely been busy with other projects.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, it was reported that she’d bagged a documentary deal with Amazon which will tell her life story – from her childhood in Slovenia, her modelling career, and her marriage to Trump.<\/p>\n

Having being filmed in 2024 and due to be released in the second half of 2025, Melania will be an executive producer alongside Fernando Sulichin of New Element Media and Brett Ratner of RatPac Entertainment, who will be the director.<\/p>\n

“Prime Video will be sharing more details on the project as filming progresses and release plans are finalised,” an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement.<\/p>\n

“We are excited to share this truly unique story with our millions of customers around the world.”<\/p>\n
