Taylor Swift was left stunned as an arena full of thousands of people booed her during the Super Bowl and since then her social media page has taken a hit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since dating\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u2019 tight end\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/a>,\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/a>\u00a0has become a mainstay at many of his\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0games. So you can imagine the singer attended the\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a>\u00a0when the Chiefs faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles.<\/p>\n

While\u00a0the Eagles would come out on top in a landslide victory of 40-22<\/a>, a highlight away from the field saw the crowd boo Swift<\/a>\u00a0when cameras panned to her.<\/p>\n

Since that day (February 9), Swift has lost 144,200 followers on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>, according to the sports gaming site SportsMillions.<\/p>\n

Now, while that would be quite a hefty hit for most\u00a0celebrities<\/a>, Swift isn\u2019t exactly most celebs as she boasts over 282 million on the\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0platform. So, chances are Swift probably hasn\u2019t even noticed.<\/p>\n

Swift nor her boyfriend have publicly addressed the booing that occurred, however, a source close to Kelce revealed how the athlete felt at the moment.<\/p>\n

Speaking to<\/a>\u00a0the Daily Mail, the source said: \u201cTravis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe always protects her and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn’t help. Travis knows that this hurt her and anyone can see this.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s clear to many that the Eagles fans feel she is a traitor of sorts – being from Pennsylvania and even wearing Eagles gear prior to dating him. Travis believes that it was unnecessary for\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0to take a dig at her especially after he voiced that he was honored for a president to be there.\u201d<\/p>\n

President Trump appeared to relish in the frosty reception Swift received as he took to Truth Social to comment: \u201cThe only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other fans have come to the same conclusion<\/a>, that Swift was booed for actually being from Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

Writing on Twitter, one person commented: \u201cEagles fans are booing her. She\u2019s originally from Philly area but obviously rooting for Travis and chiefs.<\/p>\n
