More details have emerged on the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>\u2019 decision to skip the traditional White House visit.<\/p>\n Every year, championship-winning teams in prominent American sports leagues and top-level\u00a0NCAA<\/a>\u00a0teams get to visit the White House and meet with the president. Speaking to an Eagles team source, Brenner heard the following:<\/p>\n A source at the Eagles, who spoke anonymously, stressed that conversations about refusing a visit with President Donald Trump after beating the Kansas City Chiefs LIX 40-22 have already occurred\u2026a well-placed insider told The U.S. Sun that recent discussions between the players and the Eagles front office resulted in a \u201cmassive no\u201d when asked if they would accept an invitation to the nation\u2019s capital.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n A<\/em>\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles ownership source told\u00a0The U.S. Sun<\/em>\u00a0ahead of\u00a0Super Bowl 59<\/a>\u00a0that if the Eagles\u00a0won the game, they wouldn\u2019t go to the White House.
