The \u201cTush Push,\u201d \u201cBrotherly Shove,\u201d or whatever else you call the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>\u2019 version of the quarterback sneak, is not loved outside of Philly.<\/p>\n

The play, which is virtually unstoppable in short-yardage situations, gives the reigning Super Bowl champions an edge over the rest of the\u00a0NFL<\/a>, as it leaves them with more margin for error than every other team.<\/p>\n

The rest of the league has been trying to figure out how to stop it for three seasons and it appears that they\u2019ve conceded that the only way to effectively challenge the \u201cTush Push\u201d is to have it banned.<\/p>\n

According to NFL.com\u2019s\u00a0Judy Battista<\/a>, one team has submitted an official proposal to have the play banned, but they haven\u2019t been identified.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a proposal from an unnamed team to ban the Tush Push, Troy Vincent said,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Battista reported on Monday.\u00a0\u201cWe\u2019ll see where it goes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
