Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb recently had a reunion in the sun!<\/p>\n

Hoda, who has been enjoying extra time with her daughters\u00a0Haley and Hope<\/a>\u00a0since stepping away from TODAY, traveled to Palm Beach, Florida, this week for a vacation with her family. While in the coastal town, she bumped into her former colleague and current TODAY co-anchor, Savannah Guthrie.<\/p>\n

Savannah also decided to book a getaway to Palm Beach with her family and on Tuesday, Feb. 18, she posted an\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0photo as she reunited with Hoda. \u201cOh and a bonus @hodakotb sighting for a little extra (sunshine),\u201d Savannah captioned the picture and added a sun emoji.<\/p>\n

Fans celebrated seeing the two together again.<\/p>\n

\u201cOmg yessss favorite ladies,\u201d one said.<\/p>\n

Another commented, \u201cWhen I saw you both on a vacation very close I knew this would be a fun get together!!! Enjoy!!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Savannah had previously posted a\u00a0slideshow<\/a>\u00a0of her, husband Michael Feldman and their two children \u2014\u00a010-year-old daughter Vale and 8-year-old son Charley<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 enjoying some dips in the pool, bike rides and building sandcastles on the beach.<\/p>\n

Beside the carousel of vacation snaps, she sweetly wrote, \u201cTurns out all they needed was more sunshine, more pink, more bingo, more pink, more warmth, more pink drinks, more time more together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hoda shared family photos on her page, too. \u201cNothing like family @jennifermillerjewelry marky!\u201d She captioned a\u00a0picture<\/a>\u00a0uploaded Feb. 17 that included her two daughters.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0another post<\/a>\u00a0shared later that day, Hoda said that she took Haley and Hope fishing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWait\u2026 whaaaattt\u2014 each of my girls caught a fish today!!\u201d she cheered in the caption. \u201c#wow threw em back \u2014 but what a thrill!\u201d The post included videos and photos of the proud mom next to Haley and Hope as they held their fishing rods and later reeled in a fish.<\/p>\n

Hoda and Savannah\u2019s separate trips to Palm Beach came about a month after\u00a0Hoda\u2019s last day at TODAY<\/a>\u00a0after 17 years on the show and 26 years working for NBC News.<\/p>\n

Prior to her final episode, which aired Jan. 10, Hoda explained that she was looking forward to sharing more special moments with her girls.<\/p>\n

During the Dec. 18 episode of her\u00a0\u201cMaking Space\u201d<\/a>\u00a0podcast, Hoda told guest Walker Hayes, \u201cIt\u2019s funny. When I was mentioning here that I was going to leave the TODAY show, one of our producers came upstairs in the makeup room, and she said, \u2018I want to say something to you.\u2019 She goes, \u2018My mother walking me to school every day was the best memory I\u2019ve ever had.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cAnd all I want to do is walk my kids to school. And it\u2019s the simplest thing, with a cup of coffee, walking your kids to school. But all the little things, you get to see growth.\u201d<\/p>\n
