The Kansas City Chiefs players are still recovering from the pain of their defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles just over a week ago.<\/p>\n

The Eagles had complete control over the game from beginning to end \u2013 pressuring quarterback Patrick Mahomes, shutting down tight end Travis Kelce, and then carving up the Chiefs defense with ease.<\/p>\n

Now, KC has to deal with the aftermath of their second loss in the Super Bowl in the Mahomes-era and will need to re-group for next season.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a crushing blow to their dynasty which completely halts any arguments about Mahomes being the \u2018GOAT\u2019 (for now) as he deals with the blowout.<\/p>\n

Who better to relate to than the man who beat you for your first Super Bowl loss and the person you\u2019re trying to surpass as the best in the sport?<\/p>\n

In a day-in-the-life style video, Tom Brady vlogged his way through Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans \u2013 showing off what he did in the run-up and after the first championship game he has ever broadcasted.<\/p>\n

In the closing stages of the video, Brady was asked about what it was like to lose a Super Bowl \u2013 and what he felt in the aftermath.<\/p>\n

\u2018You just don\u2019t sleep for a couple of days,\u2019 Brady revealed. \u2018You think it\u2019s a nightmare, you really do. You\u2019re like, \u201cit didn\u2019t happen, I woke up, it was a bad dream\u201d and then you\u2019re like\u2026 it sinks in.<\/p>\n

\u2018And then ultimately, you get over it. I mean, acute pain, but then there\u2019s that chronic scar tissue of making it that far and then coming up short.<\/p>\n

\u2018Giants, Eagles. Especially when you\u2019re the better team. In all three Super Bowls we lost, we were the better team. Not that day, but\u2026\u2019<\/p>\n

Brady lost his first championship game in Super Bowl XLII \u2013 when the then-undefeated New England Patriots losing by three points to a New York Giants team that had gone 10-6 in the regular season.<\/p>\n

He once again tasted defeat against the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI \u2013 losing once again by an incredibly thin margin.<\/p>\n

His third Super Bowl loss came against another NFC East team \u2013 the Philadelphia Eagles \u2013 in Super Bowl LII.<\/p>\n

In one of the highest-scoring NFL games in history, the Patriots lost by eight points.<\/p>\n

Brady\u2019s three defeats had a combined loss margin of 15. Compare that to the losses Mahomes has suffered.<\/p>\n

His loss to Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV was by a whopping 22 points.<\/p>\n

Mahomes\u2019 second, this one against Philadelphia, was an 18 point loss that frankly should have been much worse.<\/p>\n

Now, he\u2019ll have to hope that the team can stick together amid a slew of expiring contracts to try and take another crack at Super Bowl LX in 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
