People have been left horrified after seeing what President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0has chosen to have displayed outside the Oval Office.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 45th and 47th president of the\u00a0United States<\/a>\u00a0has certainly made his mark since his inauguration on January 20.<\/p>\n

Trump signed an executive order targeting transgender medical care for under 19s, has shared plans to crack down on illegal immigration, and issued numerous controversial pardons.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s also appointed the world\u2019s richest person,\u00a0Elon Musk<\/a>, as a \u2018special government employee,\u2019 with there being plans to drastically overhaul the federal workforce.<\/p>\n

Now, Trump is going\u00a0viral<\/a>\u00a0for his bold message outside the Oval Office, which has left many speechless.<\/p>\n

Reacting on X (formerly known as\u00a0Twitter<\/a>), one person comments: \u201cSuch a tasteless move.\u201d<\/p>\n

In agreement, a second says: \u201cAppalling!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo damn disgusting,\u201d writes someone else.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, others have taken to the comments and shared they found the move hilarious.<\/p>\n

\u201cSelf-irony is a positive character trait,\u201d comments one person.<\/p>\n

Another adds: \u201cCome on, you have to admit that\u2019s pretty funny.\u201d<\/p>\n

New pictures from the White House appear to have revealed that Trump has chosen to frame and hang his mugshot right outside the Oval Office.<\/p>\n

It bears an\u00a0uncanny resemblance to his official portrait<\/a>, which also shows him scowling with eyebrows raised.<\/p>\n

It was first spotted in an image shared by Trump staffer Margo Martin.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Daily Mail<\/a>\u00a0confirmed the image in photos, which were taken by media photographers during a meeting between the U.S. president and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<\/p>\n

The infamous photo appears to be from the New York Post front page.<\/p>\n

The president\u2019s mugshot was taken at Fulton County jail in August 2023\u00a0after he surrendered on racketeering and conspiracy charges of being involved in an alleged scheme to overturn the state\u2019s 2020 election results.<\/p>\n

Trump was released on a $200,000 bail and maintains his innocence.<\/p>\n

At a later date, the 78-year-old called the now-paused case a \u2018travesty of justice,\u2019 reports\u00a0The Independent<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The president also politicized the mugshot to boost his campaign, as per\u00a0Forbes<\/a>, promoting merchandise such as T-shirts, mugs, and bumper stickers, alongside the phrase: \u201cNever Surrender!\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s mugshot now ranks as one of the most famous of all time, joining the likes of O. J. Simpson and\u00a0Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/a>, who also had run-ins with the law.<\/p>\n
