Prince Harry’s seven-word reply to a text from his brother Prince William revealed the heartbreaking strain between the once close brothers.<\/p>\n

Harry and his big brother\u00a0William<\/a>\u00a0have had a notoriously challenging relationship in the last few years, with Harry publishing some of the arguments that were held between the\u00a0royals<\/a>\u00a0whilst he and Meghan were still visiting Buckingham Palace.<\/p>\n

The royal brothers have had ongoing tensions since Harry’s 2018\u00a0wedding<\/a>\u00a0to wife\u00a0Meghan Markle<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The rift between the princes is\u00a0well-documented both in the media and Prince Harry’s memoir,\u00a0Spare<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>which also talked about the rift between Kate and Meghan too.<\/p>\n

The bombshell memoir also included William\u2019s reaction to finding out that Meghan was an actress, and it wasn\u2019t what you\u2019d expect.<\/p>\n

“I casually mentioned that there was… a new woman in my life. They surged forward. ‘Who is she?'” he wrote.<\/p>\n

“She\u2019s an actress. ‘Oh?’ She\u2019s American. ‘Oh.’ On a\u00a0show<\/a>\u00a0called\u00a0Suits<\/em>. Their mouths fell open. They turned to each other. Then Willy turned to me and said: ‘F**k off?'”<\/p>\n

Harry had been worried that they might judge Meghan and may not accept her into the family, but that turned to him worrying about something else.<\/p>\n

He wrote that he was ‘baffled’ by\u00a0his brother’s response<\/a>, ‘until Willy and Kate explained that they were regular – nay, religious – viewers’ of the show.<\/p>\n

“All this time I\u2019d thought Willy and Kate might not welcome Meg into the family, but now I had to worry about them hounding her for an autograph,” he wrote.<\/p>\n

But things quickly got out of hand for the two couples when Harry and Meghan chose to step back from their royal duties and leave the UK for a better life with their children, Archie and Lilibet, in 2020.<\/p>\n

Then, the couple gave an interview with Oprah Winfrey which accused a royal member of racist remarks, and much more.<\/p>\n

And\u00a0then,\u00a0<\/em>the pair\u2019s Netflix docu-series\u00a0Harry & Meghan<\/em>\u00a0shone a light on Harry and William\u2019s crumbling relationship, where viewers got to see first-hand his reaction to a text message from William.<\/p>\n

In the clip, Meghan was talking to the producer Tyler Perry and said \u2018Wow\u2019 after Harry showed her a text on his mobile.<\/p>\n

Meghan then said: \u201cH just got a text… H just got a text from his brother.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response to the message, Harry looked stunned and simply said: “I wish I knew what to do.”<\/p>\n

Meghan then replied as she hugged her husband: “I know. Let’s take a breather. Get some air and then decide.”<\/p>\n
