‘Get out of here!’ said Erin Andrews on her podcast, addressing fans who booed Taylor Swift<\/p>\n

Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson are rallying behind\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/a>\u00a0after she was\u00a0booed at the Super Bowl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Feb. 11, the sports commentators shared their support for the 35-year-old pop star, who received a less than warm welcome from Philadelphia Eagles fans as she watched her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/a>, during the championship game. Kelce and the Chiefs went on to\u00a0get pummeled by the Eagles<\/a>, who beat them 40-22.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel bad for the most famous, amazing woman in the world who f—ing gets booed at the Super Bowl,\u201d said Andrews, 46, during\u00a0a recent episode<\/a>\u00a0of her joint podcast with Thompson,\u00a0Calm Down With Erin and Charissa<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Swift was sitting next to her friend, rapper\u00a0Ice Spice<\/a>, for the game on Sunday, Feb. 9 when she appeared on the jumbotron. In\u00a0footage posted by the NFL<\/a>, the star looked surprised, but quickly smiled when fans booed her in Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.<\/p>\n

Thompson, 42, also voiced her love for Swift on the podcast, though she understands the perspective of Eagles\u2019 fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love the fandom. Eagles are proud fans,\u201d she said. \u201cThey are gonna hate her on that day because you\u2019re rooting for your team.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

But Thompson also admires the couples\u2019 grace under pressure. The sports journalist continued, \u201cShe handles everything so well. And so does Travis. He handles this so well.\u201d<\/p>\n

The commentators weren\u2019t the only ones who spoke up for Swift. Shortly after the jumbotron moment,\u00a0Serena Williams<\/a>\u00a0posted on X, telling her not to worry about it.<\/p>\n

“I love you @taylorswift 13 don’t listen to those booo!!” the legendary tennis player, 43, wrote in her\u00a0post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The negative attention didn\u2019t stop Swift from supporting her partner. It was a tough night for Kelce, 35, who was tight-lipped and was seen\u00a0sighing while walking off the field<\/a>\u00a0with his teammates at the end of the championship game. The tight end was unable to add momentum for the AFC champs, catching only four passes for 39 yards.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe haven\u2019t played that bad all year,\u201d Kelce\u00a0told reporters after the game<\/a>. \u201cYou don\u2019t lose like that without everything going bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Andrews, who was on the field, made sure to give Kelce a hug when she saw him.<\/p>\n
