Elon Musk\u2019s son, X \u00c6 A-12, had a savage response when interrupting his dad during a White House press conference with Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

The four-year-old, who goes as\u00a0X for short<\/a>, seemed to be quite the distraction during the important meeting at the Oval Office as he pulled a number of faces, climbed all over his dad and even appeared to\u00a0wipe his bogies on the Resolute desk<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This came as the 53-year-old Tesla CEO and\u00a0Trump<\/a>, 78,\u00a0answered a series of questions from reporters<\/a>\u00a0to witness the latter sign an executive order requiring federal agencies to cooperate with the Department of Government Efficiency\u2019s (DOGE) efforts to cut costs after facing pushback last week.<\/p>\n

And, as if things couldn’t get worse following the whole bogey-situation, X appeared to shush someone off-camera before instructing them to ‘shut your mouth’.<\/p>\n

X, who is just one of the three children Musk shares with ex-girlfriend Grimes, also also stuck his fingers in his father’s ears – an act which prompted to reporters to laugh.<\/p>\n

“I thought my son might enjoy this, but it’s, he’s sticking his fingers in my ears and stuff,”\u00a0Musk<\/a>\u00a0pointed out, before saying to the toddler: “So it’s been hard to hear sometimes.<\/p>\n

“Hey! Stop that.”<\/p>\n

While Musk was discussing DOGE’s aim to ‘restore democracy’, X also mimicked his father, prompting the father-of-12 to apologise to reporters: “I tell you gravitas can be difficult sometimes.”<\/p>\n

And it’s safe to say\u00a0the ordeal hasn’t gone down well with viewers<\/a>, with many rushing to social media to call Musk – who is the head of DOGE – out for his ‘unprofessionalism’.<\/p>\n

One Twitter user slammed: “America is a joke. Bringing a child to work during conferences is unprofessional especially if the child speaking while you interviewed.”<\/p>\n

Another added: “How unprofessional – with all the money Elon Musk has surely he can afford a baby sitter! How dare he bring his kid into the Oval Office in front of the world\u2019s press – this is what we have come to.”<\/p>\n

And a third commented: “I will actually donate some of my taxpayer dollars so that Elon Musk can get a damn babysitter. How unprofessional is this?”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher,\u00a0has since hit back at Musk<\/a>\u00a0for taking their son to the press conference.<\/p>\n

She took to Twitter to issue a statement on the matter, writing: “He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
