She blamed the unfortunate bug for her uncharacteristically poor performance on floor exercise in Sunday\u2019s gymnastics qualifying round at the 2024 Paris Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>Carey is the reigning Olympic champion on the floor, but she ended up falling during her qualifying routine and will not have the chance to repeat it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI haven\u2019t been feeling the best the past few days, but I gave it everything I had today,\u201d Carey wrote on X after telling\u00a0Olympics.com\u00a0that she had not been able to eat and lacked energy. \u201cThank you for all the support I have received.
