An insider close to Travis Kelce has revealed how the Kansas City Chiefs tight-end felt when Taylor Swift was hit with a wave of boos at Super Bowl LIX.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Swift<\/a>\u00a0traveled to New Orleans to support\u00a0Kelce’s<\/a>\u00a0team as they went up against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday (February 9), though her cheers unfortunately weren’t enough to help the Chiefs to victory and they ended up\u00a0losing 22-40<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It was a result that left\u00a0Kelce looking devastated\u00a0<\/a>after the game, but that apparently wasn’t the only time the NFL star was left feeling unhappy during this year’s\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the night, Swift caught the attention of the crowd when she appeared on the Super Bowl’s Jumbotron. She wasn’t even looking at the camera when it cut to her, which left her confused when the crowd\u00a0suddenly started booing.<\/a><\/p>\n

The response left Swift asking ‘What’s going on?’, though Kelce apparently had a more intense reaction to the situation.<\/p>\n

An insider spoke to the\u00a0Mail Online<\/a>\u00a0about how Kelce felt about the boos, saying: “Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him.<\/p>\n

The insider went on to claim that some Eagles fans consider Swift to be a ‘traitor’, after she previously dressed in Eagles merchandise before she and Kelce started dating.<\/p>\n

The singer has also received backlash for the attention she’s received at football games while trying to support Kelce and his team.<\/p>\n

Even President Donald\u00a0Trump has weighed in<\/a>, as he wrote on Truth Social after the game: “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”<\/p>\n
