Philadelphia Eagles<\/a><\/span>\u00a0legend\u00a0Jason Kelce<\/a><\/span>, the older brother of\u00a0Kansas<\/a><\/span>\u00a0City Chiefs star\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/a><\/span>, has spoken out after his former team dominated the two-time defending NFL champions at\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a><\/span>\u00a02025.<\/p>\n

The Eagles led by as many as 34 and defeated the Chiefs 40-22 on Sunday night in\u00a0New Orleans<\/a><\/span>\u00a0for the team’s second Super Bowl victory, which coincides with Travis’ second championship loss.<\/p>\n

The Kansas City-Philadelphia showdown was a rematch of the 2023 Super Bowl, where the brothers faced off before\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/a><\/span>\u00a0entered their lives, and the Chiefs were victorious.<\/p>\n

Jason, now an ESPN analyst, was at the game in New Orleans to watch his brother’s excitement turn into disappointment and failure.<\/p>\n

‘Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles, my former teammates, and friends on being SB LIX Champions!!,’ Kelce said on X. ‘There were a lot of emotions last night, and now that I\u2019ve collected my thoughts, I\u2019ll attempt to share them in the longest tweet ever.’<\/p>\n

‘That game was odd for me to watch if I\u2019m being completely honest. I knew it was going to be mixed emotions before, during, and after, and I now know what my parents had to deal with two years ago. On one hand, I wanted what is best for my brother, and to see his success. And on the other hand, there are so many people, teammates, and coaches, in the Philadelphia Eagles organization that I care deeply about, Many of whom I owe my own success to throughout my career.’<\/p>\n

‘I am very proud for Jalen Hurts, Nick Sirianni, and this entire team. They have persevered greatly, answered their critics amazingly, and proved themselves to be undoubtedly the best team this season. It is extremely difficult for a team in the NFL to have enough talent, coaching, fortune, and character to win a Super Bowl.’<\/p>\n

It has been tough to process these feelings, of course I feel for him and am always rooting for him, but I know he does not need, nor want my pity. Much speculation will now take place on whether a Kelce brother will retire from the NFL for the second straight offseason, as Travis’ relationship with Swift progresses and his mainstream appeal has never been higher.<\/p>\n
