On February 9, 2025, the Kansas City Chiefs lost the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles, 40-22. Social media users believe this game may have been superstar player Travis Kelce’s last round with his team, as they opined that\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/a>\u00a0didn’t give his all during the event.<\/p>\n

Following the Chiefs’ defeat, NFL reporter Ryan Dunleavy asked star player Patrick Mahomes about Kelce’s future with the team. He shared a snippet of this via a video on X.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“I’ll let Travis make that decision on his own, man. He’s given so much to this team and to the NFL and been [sic] such a joy not only for me to work with but for people to watch. And so, he knows he still has a lot of football left in him. I mean you can see it,”\u00a0answered<\/a>\u00a0Mahomes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He\u00a0continued<\/a>, “But it’s if he wants to put in that grind, it’s a grind to go out there and play 20 games, whatever it is, and get to the Super Bowl. He’s done enough to be a gold jacket guy […] But I know he still has love for the game and he’ll get to spend some time with his family and make that decision on his own.
