President Trump\u00a0<\/a><\/span>targeted\u00a0Taylor Swift\u00a0<\/a><\/span>in a\u00a0late-night social media post<\/a>, arguing the pop star had a \u201ctougher night\u201d than the Kansas City Chiefs after the team her boyfriend plays for lost badly in the\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift,\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social.<\/p>\n \u201cShe got BOOED out of the Stadium,\u201d Trump added. \u201cMAGA is very unforgiving!\u201d<\/p>\n During Sunday evening\u2019s Chiefs game against the Philadelphia Eagles,\u00a0the camera cut<\/a>\u00a0to Swift, who was there in New Orleans to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce.<\/p>\n She appeared to be surprised when what The Associated Press described as a pro-Philadelphia crowd\u00a0began booing<\/a>\u00a0when she was shown on the jumbotron. Swift laughed and the camera cut away.<\/p>\n Last fall,\u00a0the entertainer endorsed<\/a>\u00a0former Vice President\u00a0Kamala Harris\u2019s\u00a0<\/a><\/span>presidential run because \u201cshe fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.\u201d<\/p>\n Trump was also in attendance for Sunday\u2019s championship game. It was the first time a sitting president had attended the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n During an interview that aired earlier Sunday, the president\u00a0predicted the Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0would win and praised their quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. But he said he was a fan of both teams and said the Eagles knew how to play well.<\/p>\n
