President Trump is making history at Super Bowl 59.<\/p>\n

The 47th President of the United States is attending Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Trump, who took office in January, will become the first sitting president in the history of the United States to attend the big game. It should be a special one.<\/p>\n

“I think it\u2019s a great honor no matter who the president is,”\u00a0Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce said on Wednesday<\/a>. “I know I\u2019m excited because it\u2019s the biggest game of my life, you know, and having the president there, you know, it\u2019s the best country in the world. So, that\u2019d be pretty cool.”<\/p>\n

The U.S. Secret Service, which protects the president, has already been making preparations in New Orleans.<\/p>\n

\u201cExtensive planning and coordination have been in place to ensure the safety of all attendees, players, and staff,\u201d Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement. \u201cSecurity measures have been further enhanced this year, given that this will be the first time a sitting President of the United States will attend the event.\u201d<\/p>\n
