{"id":20826,"date":"2025-02-08T16:58:23","date_gmt":"2025-02-08T16:58:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/usdailys.com\/?p=20826"},"modified":"2025-02-08T16:58:23","modified_gmt":"2025-02-08T16:58:23","slug":"trump-revokes-bidens-security-clearance-bars-him-from-intelligence-briefings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/usdailys.com\/?p=20826","title":{"rendered":"Trump Revokes Biden\u2019s Security Clearance, Bars Him From Intelligence Briefings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>WASHINGTON\u2014President Donald Trump on Feb. 7 announced that he was revoking former President Joe Biden\u2019s security clearance and stopping his access to daily intelligence briefings, an entitlement of most former presidents.<\/p>\n<p>Biden, when he took office in 2021, revoked Trump\u2019s access to classified information and daily intelligence briefings, citing the events of Jan. 6, 2021\u2014where Trump\u2019s supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol and disrupted the certification of the Electoral College vote, for which Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives and later acquitted by the Senate\u2014as his reason.<\/p>\n<p>Trump announced his decision in a social media post on Truth Social, citing Biden\u2019s previous action as well as the report by Special Counsel Robert Hur, who investigated the alleged mishandling of classified information by Biden and issued a report in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information. Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden\u2019s Security Clearances, and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings.
