Donald Trump has signed an executive order that targets trans women in sport.<\/p>\n
One of the many new orders Trump has signed in his month of being president will see trans people prohibited from joining the military and another will see trans women no longer taken to female prisons upon their arrest.<\/p>\n
A new transgender focused order was signed this week banning trans women from female sports.<\/p>\n
\u2018Keeping Men Out of Women\u2019s Sports\u2019 will see the governmnent \u2018change everything having to do with the\u00a0Olympics\u00a0and having to do with this absolutely ridiculous subject\u2019 before the 2028 Olympic Summer Games scheduled in LA.<\/p>\n
This order put pressure on the IOC to change standards of governing sporting events \u2018to promote fairness, safety and the best interests of female athletes by ensuring that eligibility for participation in women\u2019s sporting events is determined according to sex and not gender identity or testosterone reduction\u2019.<\/p>\n
The order also wants to see \u2018immediate reinforcement\u2019 against education facilities and athletic associations that deny women single-sex sports and single-sex changing rooms.<\/p>\n
As well as calling for the secretary of state and the Department of Homeland Security to \u2018review and adjust, as needed, policies permitting admission to the United States of males seeking to participate in women\u2019s sports\u2019.<\/p>\n
Trump said: \u00a0\u201cFrom now on, women\u2019s sports will be only for women.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve gotten the woke lunacy out of our military and now we\u2019re getting it out of women\u2019s sports.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIn Los Angeles in 2028, my administration will not stand by and watch men beat and batter female athletes. We\u2019re not going to let it happen.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust to make sure, I\u2019m also directing our secretary of homeland security to deny any and all visa applications made by men attempting to fraudulently enter the US while identifying as women athletes to try and get into the games.\u201d<\/p>\n
