Simone Biles<\/a>\u00a0led Team USA to another Olympic gold medal on Tuesday night, but the win hasn\u2019t been without controversy as it appears to have sparked a mini-saga.<\/p>\n

Biles mocked former Olympic teammate MyKayla Skinner after this week\u2019s feat, celebrating the victory on social media with a cheeky line.<\/p>\n

\u201cLack of talent, lazy, olympic champions,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0she captioned\u00a0a photo of herself and teammates<\/a>\u00a0Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera holding up the American flag.<\/p>\n

This was obviously in response to comments from Skinner in which she questioned Team USA\u2019s work ethic.<\/p>\n

\u201cBesides Simone, I feel like the talent and the depth just isn\u2019t what it used to be,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>she said via US Weekly ahead of the Olympic Games in Paris, France.\u00a0\u201cI mean, obviously, a lot of girls don\u2019t work as hard. The girls just don\u2019t have the work ethic. A lot of girls don\u2019t work as hard.\u201d<\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Another former U.S. gymnast, McKayla Maroney, has since joined in, commenting under Biles\u2019 post with a shady apology for her first name.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t get more iconic than this,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>she wrote.\u00a0\u201cShe f\u2019d around n found out fr. Feels like I need to apologize just to redeem my first name.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

While they don\u2019t quite have the same first name, they\u2019re close enough, the way Maroney sees it.<\/p>\n
