Celebrities have spoken out about ‘escaping’ the US in light of Donald Trump becoming president.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Donald Trump was made 47th president of the US.<\/p>\n

His inauguration ceremony – which was\u00a0attended by a number of celebrities<\/a>\u00a0– took place on Monday (20 January), making him the\u00a0first person convicted of a felony to assume the presidency<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, just like many other people across the nation, many celebrities have questioned\u00a0how Trump becoming president will affect them<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And some have even taken the decision to move away from the US in light of Trump’s presidency.<\/p>\n

We can’t help but notice how it is largely women who have made the huge decision.<\/p>\n

Here is the full list of confirmed celebrities fleeing from Trump’s USA, and those who are seriously considering it.<\/p>\n

The actress told Marie Claire of Trump\u2019s plans: \u201cIf he keeps his promises, it\u2019s going to be a scary place.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m privileged,\u201d she added. \u201cI get to escape and go somewhere.<\/p>\n

A source\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0the Daily Mail: “She is going to continue to have a presence in the US for work purposes and to fight for Latinas and women, but she will be overseas for family and to benefit her kids’ education.<\/p>\n

“She wants them to have the best opportunities possible and to her, being overseas for that is what is important.”<\/p>\n

“She’s not abandoning the US, she is prioritizing her life and focusing on the importance for her kids.”<\/p>\n

They added: “They both have family and children. She’s infuriated by the outcome, but she also knows that running will not solve anything.”<\/p>\n
