People are only just realising why Melania Trump’s ‘scribble’ dress looks so familiar after making a pretty bang-on assessment during her husband Donald Trump’s inauguration.<\/p>\n

On Monday (20 January),\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Melania<\/a>\u00a0attended a number of balls where she dropped\u00a0her viral wide-brimmed hat get-up<\/a>\u00a0for something a little less bold, but all the while still making a statement.<\/p>\n

The first lady opted for a\u00a0strapless white floor-length gown<\/a>\u00a0with featured a geometric black trim and a small slit paired with white heels and a thick, black choker.<\/p>\n

The garment in question was reportedly designed by Melania’s longtime\u00a0style<\/a>\u00a0advisor, Herv\u00e9 Pierre, who also made her first inaugural gown.<\/p>\n

Now, it didn’t take long for hawk-eyed viewers to make the comparison between the design on Melania’s dress and Trump’s sharpie signature following\u00a0the executive orders signings<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One\u00a0X<\/a>\u00a0user penned: “Does Melania’s dress bear a striking resemblance to Trump’s signature on all those EO’s today or is it just my imagination?<\/p>\n

“The first thing I thought of when I saw Melania’s dress was that it looked like Trump’s signature,” wrote a second while a third echoed: “Melania’s dress – specifically the Black ribbon reminds me of the Don’s signature swoosh. I wonder if that was part of the intent. Especially with his historic first day of EO’s.”<\/p>\n

Another added: “Melania’s ‘scribble’ dress, reminds me of Trump’s signature.”<\/p>\n

And a final X user declared: “Melania\u2019s dress design was inspired by Trump\u2019s sharpie signature. You can not convince me otherwise.”<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the day,\u00a0Trump made some pretty bizarre comments about Melania\u2019s feet\u00a0<\/a>during his post-inauguration speech.<\/p>\n

He shared an exchange he had with his wife during the day, saying: “I have a first lady who has been incredible.<\/p>\n

“I shouldn’t say this. I’m going to get hell when I say this, but her feet are absolutely aching. You know, those heels.”<\/p>\n

He continued to explain that he and Melania ‘thought they were leaving’ before someone came up to him and asked him to ‘say hello’ to some of his other fans.<\/p>\n

According to the Trump, Melania said: “Darling, I love you so much, but my feet are killing me.”<\/p>\n

“I said, ‘Honey, let me just see how far it is,'” he continued to recall, explaining he was informed the walk was ‘maybe four or 500 yards’.<\/p>\n

“That’s five football fields,” Trump declared. “I said, ‘Can you make it?'”<\/p>\n

He then revealed exactly what Melania’s response was to the situation: “She said, ‘We’re going to make it. No matter what, we’re going to make it because we have to go.'”<\/p>\n
