The veteran woke up with a calf issue last week and hadn\u2019t been able to practice with the team for several days.<\/p>\n<p>He has been doing work,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nfl.com\/news\/russell-wilson-returns-to-steelers-practice-with-limited-participation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">having returned on Tuesday<\/a>, but the Steelers are being cautious with him.<\/p>\n<p>This leaves Fields with a great opportunity as he could prove he deserves to be the starter in Week 1.
