Kayla Nicole might not be a Kansas City Chiefs fan anymore but that didn\u2019t stop her from singing the praises of the team \u2014\u00a0and ex Travis Kelce.<\/p>\n

On Monday\u2019s episode\u00a0of the \u201cI Am Athlete\u201d podcast<\/a>, Nicole discussed the outcomes from the divisional round of the playoffs \u2014\u00a0including the Chiefs\u2019\u00a0win over the Houston Texans<\/a>\u00a0and the Baltimore Ravens\u2019 heartbreaking loss to the Buffalo Bills, which ended dramatically after tight end Mark Andrews\u00a0dropped a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have guys they can throw the ball to who aren\u2019t going to drop the ball in the end zone,\u201d Nicole said of the Missouri-based team, seemingly shading Andrews.<\/p>\n

Nicole discussed the Kansas City Chiefs\u2019 match-up against the Buffalo Bills on the \u201cI Am Athlete\u201d podcast Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201cTravis Kelce \u2014 that\u2019s a tight end that\u2019s not gonna do it,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

However, Nicole noted that Kelce isn\u2019t the Chiefs\u2019 only weapon \u2014\u00a0and explained why she believes they\u2019ll make it to the Super Bowl for the third time in a row.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve got the threats, so, as much as I\u2019d love to see somebody else in the Super Bowl, just to see something new, it\u2019s not gonna happen,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Nicole said she would \u201clove\u201d to see Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills pull off the upset on Sunday because she \u2014\u00a0and most NFL fans \u2014 are \u201cbored\u201d of seeing the Chiefs advance.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0\u201cSpecial Forces\u201d star<\/a>\u00a0had a front-row seat to the Chiefs\u2019 dynasty while\u00a0dating Kelce, 35, on and off<\/a>\u00a0from 2017 until 2022.<\/p>\n

When asked what makes the team \u201cso dynamic,\u201d Nicole pointed to coach Andy Reid,\u00a0quarterback Patrick Mahomes<\/a>\u00a0and the \u201ccrazy energy\u201d environment at Arrowhead Stadium.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the loudest stadium in the league,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Patrick, too, is just a seasoned vet at this point. There\u2019s no panic. There\u2019s no sudden decisions,\u201d she said. \u201cLike this is a well-thought-out offense. He studies the game like nobody else \u2026 that\u2019s all he does. He is a student of the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

When her co-hosts jokingly asked how she had so much intel, the influencer joked, \u201cI know somebody on the inside.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Nicole has yet to publicly date someone since her split from Kelce, the NFL star\u00a0moved on with Taylor Swift<\/a>\u00a0in July 2023.<\/p>\n

The sports reporter has been very outspoken about how the pair\u2019s headline-making romance\u00a0has impacted her<\/a>\u00a0over the last year and a half.<\/p>\n

During a recent confessional on the Fox reality series, Nicole admitted that \u201cgoing through a public breakup\u201d was\u00a0really \u201coverwhelming.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The Tribe Therep\u0113 founder said got \u201ca lot of s\u2013t\u201d online because Kelce began dating \u201csuch a mega-superstar\u201d \u2014 who she admittedly \u201cliked\u201d and thought was \u201cvery talented.\u201d<\/p>\n
