The contest also marked Tre\u2019Davious White\u2019s first game against the team that he played seven seasons for (2017 to 2023).<\/p>\n<p>Many expected the Bills to regress in 2024 after trading their mercurial wide receiver to the\u00a0<a class=\"mai-link-injected\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totalprosports.com\/nfl\/houston-texans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Houston Texans<\/a>. But Allen\u2019s group got the last laugh, and Buffalo is in the AFC title game for the first time in four years.<\/p>\n<p>Diggs\u2019 Texans\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/schedule\/_\/name\/buf\/buffalo-bills\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">defeated\u00a0<\/a>Buffalo 23-20 at home back in Week 5. The four-time Pro Bowler infamously left the locker room early after Buffalo\u2019s 2022 Divisional Round loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, and he missed part of 2023 minicamp for reasons not entirely known.<\/p>\n<p>By all accounts, White was a beloved and well-respected teammate in Buffalo.
