Travis Kelce\u2019s girlfriend isn\u2019t the only loved one the Kansas City Chiefs star will have at Saturday\u2019s playoffs game against the visiting Houston Texans.<\/p>\n

In his capacity as an NFL analyst for ESPN, Travis\u2019 brother Jason Kelce has arrived at Arrowhead Stadium for the pivotal Divisional Round matchup, where wind chill temperatures were hovering around 0 degrees Fahrenheit.<\/p>\n

\u2018Are y\u2019all okay?\u2019 ESPN\u2019s Stephen A. Smith asked Kelce and the network\u2019s NFL crew from the warmth and safety of the indoors. \u2018How are y\u2019all hanging in that COLD. I\u2019m watching and praying for y\u2019all\u2026\u2026.in warmer weather, of course. Enjoy.\u2019<\/p>\n

Dressed in a red-and-black lumberjack\u2019s coat with a matching winter hat, the elder Kelce strolled into Arrowhead with a hot cup of coffee, so he didn\u2019t appear too bothered by the weather.<\/p>\n

Taylor Swift would arrive with her own security moments thereafter followed by Travis.<\/p>\n

Relatively speaking, Jason and Taylor were quite late arrivals for the 4:30pm EST kickoff when compared to Chiefs fans, some of whom got to Arrowhead on Friday night.<\/p>\n

Chiefs Kingdom couldn\u2019t wait for Arrowhead Stadium\u2019s parking lot to open up Saturday morning ahead of Kansas City\u2019s Divisional Round playoff matchup with the visiting Houston Texans.<\/p>\n

Not only was there bumper-to-bumper traffic at the Truman Sports Complex more than eight hours before kickoff, but some attendees actually arrived at the lot gates on Friday night, as seen in a clip from KCTV\u2019s Mark Poulose.<\/p>\n

\u2018Fire\u2019s getting ready for the brats already,\u2019 one Chiefs fan told the reporter while lifting the helmet-shaped lid of his grill.<\/p>\n

These gentlemen were soon joined by thousands of others, as seen in a clip ESPN\u2019s Jeff Darlington posted on social media.<\/p>\n

\u2018The obligatory video of Chiefs fans lined up outside the gates of Arrowhead 8.5 hours before the game to tailgate in 18-degree weather,\u2019 Darlington wrote on X.<\/p>\n

This has, of course, become something of a January tradition just off I-70. The Chiefs haven\u2019t lost a home playoff game since the AFC Championship in January of 2022, when Patrick Mahomes & Co. fell to the visiting Cincinnati Bengals.<\/p>\n

And with the team\u2019s continued success, fans have turned each playoff game into a day-long holiday.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019m so KC, I woke up EARLY knowing that #ChiefsKingdom was already waiting outside the Arrowhead gates,\u2019 one fan wrote on X. \u2018#tradition.\u2019<\/p>\n

And weather is, once again, failing to deter Chiefs fans who want to eat and drink in a parking lot for eight hours before the 3:30pm (local time) kickoff.<\/p>\n

As of Saturday morning, temperatures were around 19 degrees Fahrenheit. However, there could be wind gusts from 30 to 35mph, according to KSHB meteorologist Jeff Penner.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
