Patrick Mahomes revealed the need to straighten out his smile ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs\u2019 divisional playoff showdown with the Houston Texans.<\/p>\n

Over the years, fans have spotted the reigning Super Bowl MVP chewing on a mysterious mouthguard during NFL games.<\/p>\n

As theories about his mysterious mouthpiece float around, Mahomes recently revealed how his latest partnership helps him with a dental condition.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Adweek, Mahomes announced his endorsement deal with Invisalign.<\/p>\n

\u2018After many years of speculation, I figured it was finally time to set the record straight, and many of you were right \u2026 I am a proud user of Invisalign,\u2019 Mahomes said.<\/p>\n

The quarterback joins the Invisalign Smile Squad as an ambassador for the brand in a multi-year agreement.<\/p>\n

While his dental history remains under wraps, Mahomes famously had a gap between his teeth in his early years in the NFL.<\/p>\n

After quietly fixing the condition, Mahomes cashed in on partnering with Invisalign and praised the product for how much it\u2019s helped him.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s funny how much speculation there\u2019s been about something as simple as my aligners,\u2019 Mahomes joked. \u2018Invisalign is a product that has made a real difference for me personally, and I wanted to pass that along to others, so the partnership came together pretty naturally.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019ve been using their product for a while because it\u2019s helped me feel more confident without it being too noticeable or affecting my day-to-day routine,\u2019 he continued.<\/p>\n

\u2018When we started talking, it just made sense to team up and share that story. It\u2019s great to work with a brand that aligns with who I am and helps me inspire others to feel good about themselves, too.\u2019<\/p>\n

Mahomes\u2019 brand partnerships include Adidas, State Farm, Subway and T-Mobile. When asked what he looks for when partnering with companies, Mahomes responded \u2018Authenticity, first and foremost.\u2019<\/p>\n

Also, if it\u2019s a brand or product that I already use and have a connection with outside of football.<\/p>\n

Mahomes\u2019 title-winning form has continued with 392 completions for 581 attempts. He also threw for 3,928 yards and 26 touchdowns this past season.<\/p>\n

Kansas City had a near-perfect season with a 15-2 record atop the AFC West. Their only losses came against Buffalo and Denver.<\/p>\n
