Wendy Williams\u2019<\/a>\u00a0family has had enough.<\/p>\n

The TV personality\u2019s loved ones have launched a\u00a0GoFundMe\u00a0to raise $50,000 for the talk show host, 60, who has been experiencing \u201cloneliness and deep isolation\u201d amid her guardianship.<\/p>\n

Williams\u2019 family created the fund-raiser on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

After the GoFundMe was launched,\u00a0Williams and her niece, Alex Finnie<\/a>, called into\u00a0\u201cThe Breakfast Club\u201d\u00a0<\/a>to address the claims she is cognitively impaired and wanting freedom from\u00a0the controversial guardianship.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>She\u2019s currently in a facility in New York, where she is able to call her loved ones but they are unable to call her. Williams also has no access to the internet via a laptop or iPad.<\/p>\n

Williams \u2014\u00a0who was diagnosed with\u00a0aphasia and frontotemporal dementia\u00a0in May 2023 \u2014 compared the guardianship to a \u201cprison.\u201d<\/p>\n

The GoFundMe campaign has raised $12,171 of its $50,000 goal so far.\u00a0A photo on the fund-raiser page shows a sweet snap of Williams and Finnie.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor far too long, Wendy has faced the challenges of being unjustly placed under guardianship and labeled as incapacitated, despite her strong will and determination to live her life independently,\u201d the description reads.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHer current situation is not only unfair but also deeply isolating. The guardian assigned to her has severed her connections with friends and family, leaving her without the support network she so desperately needs. This isolation in New York has made it increasingly difficult for her to maintain her strength and resilience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, Williams\u2019 family is \u201cpassionately advocating for her return to Florida, where she can once again be surrounded by the love and support of those who care about her. They are suffering emotionally as they witness the toll her isolation is taking on her well-being.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, they have exhausted their financial resources in their fight against this unjust guardianship and are in dire need of assistance to secure legal representation,\u201d the caption continued. \u201cLegal services can be prohibitively expensive, and without our support, they may struggle to navigate the complexities of the situation.\u2019<\/p>\n

Concluding the post, her family urged the public to donate if they can.<\/p>\n

During Williams\u2019 call into Charlamagne tha God\u2019s radio show, she\u00a0insisted that she\u2019s \u201cnot cognitively impaired,\u201d adding, \u201cDo I seem that way, goddamn it?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI have $15,\u201d Williams said, also claiming that her cats \u201care gone.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy life is f\u2013ked up,\u201d she said. \u201cI feel like I\u2019m in prison. I\u2019m definitely isolated. I keep the door closed, I watch TV, listen to the radio and look out the window. Sit here as my life goes by.\u201d<\/p>\n
