Travis Kelce<\/a>\u00a0explained why he and\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/a>\u00a0continue to publicly support each other as they reach new heights in their careers.<\/p>\n \u201cI’m enjoying all aspects of life. Me and Taylor are happy,\u201d Kelce, 35, said of his relationship with Swift in a Wednesday, Jan. 15 appearance on\u00a0The Stephen A. Smith Show<\/em><\/a>\u00a0before the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff game against the Houston Texans on Jan. 18.<\/p>\n “I couldn’t be happier to have that confidence and that comfort off the field and all the support I could ever ask for in the stadium,” Kelce continued.<\/p>\n Smith, 57, told the tight end that he \u201cnever really listened to [Swift’s] music\u201d before going to her concert. Smith went twice and spent around $20,000 on tickets for his daughter and nine of her friends. \u201cI said, \u2018This better be worth it.\u2019 And I gotta confess, it was so damn good.”<\/p>\n \u201cShe had you singing along the second time? Ain\u2019t that something,\u201d Kelce quipped before Smith said, \u201cAnd dancing!\u201d<\/p>\n Smith asked if being in a relationship with Swift, 35, has \u201cadded to [Kelce’s] football talent.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhere would you describe your mentality to be at this particular moment in time knowing how well everything is going for both [of you] personally and professionally?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think personally, that’s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft, focus on being the best version of you,\u201d Kelce said. \u201cThat’s why I wanted to be at the concert, supporting her and being there for her, making sure she feels comfortable and supported in everything she’s doing in life.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think I’m as focused as I’ve ever been on my job and being the best player that I could possibly be week in and week out for this team,” Kelce said. \u201cIt’s because I don’t have to worry about things off the field.”<\/p>\n While on\u00a0The Pat McAfee Show<\/em><\/a>\u00a0on Monday, Jan. 13, Kelce was asked if\u00a0Swift pulls inspiration from the relationship<\/a>\u00a0into her work.<\/p>\n “Let’s just say you’re hanging and out and having a little dinner and all of the sudden the creative juice sparks,” host Pat McAfee hypothesized, “and the absolute beast that you’re sitting with who is going to go down as maybe the most famous icon in the history of music…are you a motivator every single time?”<\/p>\n “Oh, yeah.
