Taylor Swift is giving her Rhode Island mansion a major facelift \u2014 in hopes that this will be her main family home with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, The Post has learned.<\/p>\n

The \u201cThe Last Great American Dynasty\u201d singer is sinking $1.7 million into a massive renovation of the $17 million Watch Hill estate, according to building permits and zoning certificates.<\/p>\n

Providence Journal<\/a>\u00a0was the first to report on the renovation.<\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s seaside palace, infamous for her star-studded Fourth of July bashes, is set for a serious glow-up.<\/p>\n

Plans include a 400-square-foot expansion that will transform part of the sprawling 11,000-square-foot home into an upgraded bedroom suite and lounge.<\/p>\n

The overhaul doesn\u2019t stop there \u2014 the \u201cCardigan\u201d singer is also redesigning the kitchen and adding another bedroom to the main house.<\/p>\n

Permits for the project were quietly filed in late November and early December 2024, with construction allowed through December 2025.<\/p>\n

The building permit was officially granted on Jan. 13, records obtained by The Post show, but with a note that stated: \u201cWork shall not proceed until the inspector has approved the various stages of construction.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is going to be her main home base and where she and Kelce will hopefully raise a family one day,\u201d the insider told The Post.<\/p>\n

The Post has reached out to Swift\u2019s reps for comment.<\/p>\n

The mansion \u2014 perched on over 5 acres of manicured gardens with a massive patio, pool house and a private 700-foot stretch of beach \u2014 has long been Swift\u2019s go-to getaway.<\/p>\n

Swift, 34, was last seen at the estate in August 2024, unwinding with Kelce and close friends after wrapping the European leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour.<\/p>\n

The Grammy winner skipped her traditional\u00a0July 4th party\u00a0<\/a>this year due to tour commitments but made up for it with an intimate gathering in August.<\/p>\n

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end isn\u2019t the only VIP to enjoy Swift\u2019s Rhode Island retreat. NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, recently\u00a0joined the couple<\/a>\u00a0for some seaside relaxation. In past years, Swift\u2019s exes \u2014 Tom Hiddleston, Calvin Harris and Joe Jonas \u2014 have also graced the estate, alongside her famous girl squad members Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez and Cara Delevingne.<\/p>\n

Also\u00a0over the summer<\/a>\u00a0her gal pal Blake Lively celebrated her birthday at the beachfront estate.<\/p>\n

Swift originally scooped up the eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom property in 2013 at just 23 years old, paying the full $17.75 million price tag in one swift (no pun intended) wire transfer.<\/p>\n

Reports at the time suggested Swift\u2019s interest in the estate was sparked by its proximity to\u00a0ex-boyfriend Conor Kennedy\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0family compound in nearby Newport. He\u2019s a son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/p>\n
